Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know
What is osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a manual therapeutic approach that aims to diagnose and treat mobility restrictions affecting the entire body. It is based on a holistic view of the body and uses gentle techniques to restore balance and promote self-healing.
How does a session work?
A session begins with an in-depth interview (anamnesis) to understand your needs and history. This is followed by a clinical examination with mobility tests and palpations. Manual treatment is then performed using adapted techniques. The session concludes with personalized advice.
How long does a session last?
An osteopathic session lasts an average of 45 minutes. This time allows for complete care: listening, examination, treatment and advice. The duration may vary according to the complexity of the case and specific needs.
For what conditions should you consult an osteopath?
Osteopathy treats a wide range of disorders: musculoskeletal pain (back, neck, joints), digestive disorders, headaches, stress, sleep disorders, pregnancy support, pediatric disorders, sports optimization, and many others.
Do several sessions need to be booked?
The number of sessions varies depending on the nature of the issue and how long it has been present. Some acute problems can be resolved in 1 to 2 sessions, while chronic conditions require more regular follow-up. Your osteopath will establish a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
How can I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment directly through our online form, by phone, or via WhatsApp at +230 52 53 73 44, or by email at llosteopathie@gmail.com. We respond quickly to find a time slot that suits you.
